Oh my gosh, Kathleen. This is simply beautiful. Just like life should/can be. You have done the word "Love" proud. And I always love the images you share. Thank you for brightening my day with your words and pictures.
Oh my gosh! Oh my goodness! Kathleen, this is so beautiful. You've outdone yourself yet again.
This was truly inspired. It's just what I needed to read this morning. Talk about transmitting "love frequencies". Thank you so much. I'm glad to know that you are still open to chatting with heart-connected friends. I'm going to have to send this to everyone, even my "you know who" friends too. xoxo
Really lovely message--thank you! Things are shifting and people are starting to wake up to the beauty that's been inside of them all along. Everyone needs to see this article!
Watching nature shows has helped me understand what love and purpose is.
Animals, insects, and plants aren't told that they have to pollinate or eat this or that. Their purpose is to take care of themselves and their progeny.
That purpose alone opens life up to dealing with reality.
I don't have children and probably will not but I feel the love which also involves anger against those who promote slavery and death pretending to love us.
"This whole time, I thought changing the world
was something you did, an act you performed,
something you fought for.
I don't know if that's true anymore.
What if changing the world was just about being here,
by showing up no matter how many times
we get told we don't belong,
by staying true even when we're shamed into being false,
Can I tell you how much I love this comment?! I so relate to this as part of my own process which is like a distillation, or purification. It gets simpler and clearer as the unwind continues. I couldn't have said with confidence at the start of Covid that there would be so many gifts coming along with the trials.
Thank you, Rob. Your comment is so heartening. 💖
"What if changing the world was just about being here,

Yes, it's this gradual improvement which includes sadness at the times when no longer useful parts of me go to a nice sunny retirement after I give them love and thanks for what they did.
A month or so ago, I told my fiancee that I feel like I'm past the threshold. No longer I feel like I have to push so hard. Like I've learned with qi gong, true energy is effortless and flowing.
I no longer imminently fear that I could fall backwards. I know it's possible, but I'm confident that I'll catch it before it's a problem that's too big to handle.
It made me cry at times when thoughts of how hard things were when I was so hard on myself.
But that was out of love and concern for myself and it got me this far.
Here's an interesting parallel to feeling like I'm past a threshold. It's the idea of the "glowing coat of awareness" which counters the "flyers" in our mind.
From Casteneda's Active Side of Infinity:
"The only alternative left for mankind is discipline. Discipline is the only deterrent. But by discipline I don't mean harsh routines. I don't mean waking up every morning at five-thirty and throwing cold water on yourself until you're blue. Sorcerers understand discipline as the capacity to face with serenity odds that are not included in our expectations. For them, discipline is an art: the art of facing infinity without flinching, not because they are strong and tough but because they are filled with awe.
Sorcerers say that discipline makes the glowing coat of awareness unpalatable to the flyer. The result is that the predators become bewildered. An inedible glowing coat of awareness is not part of their cognition, I suppose. After being bewildered, they don't have any recourse other than refraining from continuing their nefarious task."
Long time since I've read Casteneda. The 'glowing coat of awareness' makes me think of being in such an open space that nothing snags enough to bring you down or suck you in. Nice.
It is interesting how we see where we've freed ourselves only in retrospect.
That is the most interesting definition of discipline I've ever encountered. This got me: "the art of facing infinity without flinching, not because they are strong and tough but because they are filled with awe." Thanks so much, Rob. Lots to contemplate here.
Aaaaand my feel good start for the day putting me in the mindset of enjoying this trip has officially begun. Thank you. I’ll do my best. Just spaced off while writing this comment from my car waiting for a choir concert to start and I saw the ivy on the old building across from me dance in the wind. It’s stuck to the wall, you see, but when the wind blows, it moves in unison, like organic sequence on a flapper dress.
Thanks for the uplift, Kathleen. May your day be filled with nature’s magic.
Love the image of the tethered - not too tethered - ivy. And if reading this helps you have a better day, I'm grateful for that. Same to you, friend. 💕
I am with Ronnie. This is lovely. It just says it all. There definitely needs to be MORE words for love. People use it so much, but is what they are feeling true love? Fondness? Hilarious connection? Next level like? Affection? Devotion? Lust? Connection?
Love is patient, kind, not jealous, doesn't brag or is arrogant. Love doesn't act unbecomingly and is not provoked. It doesn't hold grudges. It doesn't rejoice in evil and loves the truth. It bears, believes, hopes and endures all things. And it NEVER fails.
And the pictures included were gorgeous. Best to you with virtual connected digital affection. ♥

Beautiful yourself, Sadie Jay. Thanks for that, and your attentive kindness.❤️
I really enjoyed this so much, thank you K. And the images were just beautiful. The cats at the end were tremendous.
This evening on my walk I met a new cat - a giant tabby. She accompanied me for a full block, racing ahead, waiting in the bushes and POUNCING out - leaping at my legs and running away. Huge cat. They always know 'their' people and I am a sucker for the urban cat. They always find me :)
Lucky you, Excess! How sweet that cat wanted to play with you.
Isn't it remarkable, having gone through what we have, seen what others couldn't (still can't) see, felt the depths of despair, the massive outrage and all the rest, that there is still so much to enjoy? Seriously it's miraculous. I'm grateful.
There is something so deeply resilient about us humans. So impressive.
Dear Kathleen, Such a beautiful sharing about the essence of the goodness of being alive! I have noticed that the concept and the very word of love has been missing in most of academia, and certainly in psychiatry and in much of psychotherapy. One of my husband's most important messages that he works to share is on the importance and healing nature of love and loving relationships (including with nature!) It is the positive side of his life's work--- neurotoxins are harmful to human beings; love is vital for human beings....in the next room, he is writing about this again 'as we speak.'
Retired Navy commander now accidental-but-there-are-no-accidents spiritual teacher Suzanne Giesmann says LIFE is an acronym for Love In Full Expression. This trip... sure is a (colloquialism) trip.
Awareness of your unique and eloquently expressed perspectives out here? there? on the interwebs is such a treat and a blessing. Thank you for freely sharing.

Thank you, dear Barbara! 💜You're such a love.
Isn't she, tho!? Gotta luv that tree-luvvin' gal. xo
🥰
I second your remarks!
Hi!
I've moved into a HOME. ^_^
Congrats, Jaan!! So happy for you!
Thanks, dear pal, me too! ^_^

So so kind, BigBlueSky (love that handle) and so gratifying to read. I'm fortunate in readers, I really am. Thank you. 🙏Very Best to you.

And if we all held on to that,
if we refuse to budge and fall in line,
if we stood our ground for long enough,
just maybe...
The world can't help but change around us.
Even though we'll be gone,
it's like Mr. Robot said.
We'll always be a part
of Elliot Alderson.
And we'll be the best part,
because we're the part
that always showed up.
We're the part that stayed.
We're the part that changed him.
And who wouldn't be proud of that?"

Jesus said all of the laws and commandments can be said with just 2. Love God and love your neighbor. End of commands.
I love it! It is pretty simple. I'd add, love Nature... :-) Thanks, David.
Great add. I totally agree, all of creation is wonderous
Beautiful words we all needed to hear. 🙏🏽
