Lately I have as prob with some conspiracy theorists more than those who aren't.

My sister is one of the most beautiful people, has a beautiful kind heart. She is patient and listens to conspiracies, doesnt always agree but keeps an open mind and agrees on some topics. She traveled to watch the eclipse. It brought her to tears. I can only imagine how incredible it was for her and her girls to see it. Then I got on substack where someone called eclispe watchers "apes."

Seriously? Is this the welcome people have to offer someone like my sister? It's little wonder people give "conspiracy theories" a wide berth when they get accusations and name calling for experiencing a magical astrological event. It makes me wonder why I am here sometimes.

Bravo. We are surrounded by this all the time, and it matters a lot that we keep challenging it. Sensitiivy and with humility, as you did. I just finished reading Mattias Desmet's 'Psychology of Totalitarianim' for the second time. It is a really amazing book, giving the best explanation I have seen of how and why the world got to where it is, and what we can do about it. And 'not turning a blind eye' to the strange mental patterns developing in the general population is top of the list.

Kathleen, your articles about group dynamics are fascinating. Thank you.

I am also so impressed at how tirelessly you reach out to people who are terrible to other people. Very inspirational. I wish I could be more like that, but my cup is empty, overturned, and on the dish rack.

Proud conspiracy theorist here. It is just a label to shut down and marginalise alternative viewpoints.

I'm so honored by your mention, Kathleen. I love our ongoing intrastack convo.

I’m sure you are right in your approach. Any good advice about how to leave the anger/rage behind and use gentle tactics instead?

Having spent years on efforts for truth and accountability related to the Sep 11 attacks, efforts to share the destructive effects of the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Act, the danger to health that is "modern 'medicine,'" I have been on the receiving end of more insults than I can count. These, of course, came from my fellow Americans who preferred to offer the benefit of the doubt to those in the crime syndicate and its enforcement arm than to someone in circumstances similar to theirs.

For me, the response to someone like the woman you describe, Kathleen, is very situational -- and depends on my mood. :) Sometimes I'm up for an attempt at a polite, question-generating exchange and sometimes I ain't. Sometimes, I remain silent altogether -- because I've heard the same thing from too many people to count -- in person and in Comments sections -- over and over and over. Their trite, dull, predictable "commentary" that depends on insult has lost any appeal to me to try to overcome.

When something as obviously stupid and impossible as the official Sep 11 story gets told to a credulous audience of hundreds of millions. you may take it to the bank that that audience will believe anything and do anything to "stay safe." And then you may know that your is country is doomed. It has earned its karma.

I commend you for your forbearance, Kathleen

Thanks Kathleen!

The termination of the WHO is really a wind-up. A demonstration of their fragility being an unelected organisation. It was something I put forward as the thoughts and intentions of 'the people', who they intend to control.

The WHO, being 'unelected', has no real power - just the assumed status of power and control. On this basis, I put forward the notion that many others will hopefully agree - the WHO is now simply a 'tool' for their major benefactor, Bill Gates - the WHO's influencer and 'controller'.

If enough of us cease to acknowledge the existence of the unelected and bogus organisation - they cease to exist!

Regards! Mick from Hooe (UK).

Well said. Thanks, Kathleen, for sharing the big lessons you learned from this "small moment".

Making your point in an nonthreatening way, not needing to make the other person wrong, and keeping contact with that person, all things I've recently learned myself.

I, too, find myself in certain situations recalling some of the important points that were made by Peter McLaughlin.

Thank you for this lovely forest filled with rabbit holes. They are all worth looking into and I get so into them that I am not much good anywhere else! I am a huge fan of Klimt and Van Gogh as well, so your choice of photos always brings me peace. I love knowing you are out here with me. I too, have included myself and Hubs in my 'talks' with those who may be different than me. Including myself doesn't make them feel singled out in a bad way. Yes, Hubs was coerced into getting a shot. They gave him 5 days notice in April of 2021. So, this is a helpful "we" moment for those I am trying to wake up. "I feel as if they lied to us and we fell for it" is another good line. I include myself in the "we" in a general term. Because I am just that skeptical and stubborn and it saved me. I am just now, at my age, learning to appreciate myself just the way God made me. I have no need to try different, because I am just the way I am for a purpose...and I have a feeling it is for a time such as this. xoxo♥

What a beautiful interaction, thank you so much for sharing. And for giving hope that the wise ways will settle in if we have the intention for it in some way.

I'm not where I want to be about speaking up but maintaining connection. However, the one trick I've absorbed is to say something along the lines of "gosh I just wonder how many things I think are crazy that I'll come to find out are true. I wonder what my blindspots are. It's so easy to judge those other people, but it's in me too."

I'm only part way into the interview with Peter McLaughlin and while he's lovely I do not care for the interviewers. They call people Nut Jobs and at least so far, they feel divisive. If they wanted to convince me of something I would never listen to them because their language is blaming. I mean, I guess that's a good example of why we need to keep a good connection with the other person. I WANT to absorb that lesson into every cell of my being and I have so far to go!!

I always enjoy your writing Kathleen. If it feels like progress to you then it is. The three instances in your life were all lessons that may have been leading up to this conversation as a destination, or maybe this conversation was just one more reminder on the way to a much bigger lesson. Life is exciting that way.

I hear people say things like “if God wants it to happen, it will” Yet they ignore His messengers when they come, all because they look different than expected.

I'm glad you got my drift. I'm just playing their assumptive game. I have a cunning imagination but great determination. Who knows, if there were enough of us (The People) there could be 'mileage' in my bizarre plan? All the best Kathleen! Mick.

Yes; this -putting the hammer away -is necessary. If they let us stay on-line (it is getting more difficult)

Anyhow, thanks for this well-spoken reminder. I have come to the same conclusion.
