We’re yearning to dissolve the illusion of separation, aren’t we? Although, it might be easier to snake connections with strangers these days, rather than people who might come with the pre-existing context of the last five years. Ahem.

Of course, some people would still be more comfortable around animals in their backyard (even bears: Barbara!) than humans, but it’s only a matter of time before humans start to connect without subtext; without hidden agendas lurking to strike, manipulate, disappoint. I. e. if I see a bear in the woods, I know it might wanna eat me, it’s not going to pretend it wants to chat about the weather before it eats me. 😂

I’m glad to see a post from you, Kathleen. Always a refreshing insight.

Yes, Nature is a relief that way; No messy hidden stuff. It is what it is.

And so agree - it's only a matter of time before humans connect without those murky layers. I think it's all part of what's happening. So much is falling away, so we're plugged in more directly now and I'm guessing the animals (including some humans) are feeling that.

Thanks Tonika. xox

I used to be terrified of bears in the woods before I was ever even walking in the woods! And then I kept having the most gentle, amazing dreams of them. Black bears are very rarely aggressive, although I'm much more comfortable seeing them in my yard than I might be coming upon one by accident in the woods!

Tonika, did you mean to write "it might be easier to snake connections with strangers" or was that a typo??? 🐍 :) XOXO Nice to see both of you here!

This is something i have seen since i was a child. With cougars, bobcats and other wild creatures. Face to face in the wild, close enough that i could touch them. I have a friend on Reunion Island in the southern Indian ocean that now has a pigeon that landed on her inside of her home and is now a constant companion.

There is a shift in the spiritual world that is expanding. Animals are spiritual entities. They can sense your spirit and those spirits associated with you.

I could expound on this, but won't at this time.

Thanks for the post.

One observation: in Nicaragua the bush people eat anything that moves, iguana is a favorite. Occasionally i will have a 4 foot iguana male visit me. I can sit next to him and we visit. Won't let me touch, but can get within an inch. Closer and my hand gets whapped by the tail. Should a bush person show up on my property the iguana exits quickly.

This gave me chills, Kathleen. I love that he introduced his wife to you, virtually, giving him context and making him safe company. Such an interesting dynamic that the small exchange takes up so much less psychic energy than the resentment of the intrusion. And I love this concept that things are getting a little easier, and species are feeling a little more okay with sharing space, including the human one. Thanks so much!

Kathleen Devanney. A human.'s avatar

Funny enough that never occurred to me - the inclusion of his wife to add safety. I never once felt his presence as unsafe - probably since we met by near the road, with my car in sight. But of course he was doing that. :-)

"...the small exchange takes up so much less psychic energy than the resentment of the intrusion."

So true. I'm thinking my shift in behavior - along with the animals - is just a response to the changing fields we operate in. They are less dense and distorted with - as Tonika noted -hidden agenda/subtext. So, really, I'm getting out of my own way, my own agenda with wanting the place to myself.

Thanks for the added insights, Tereza. xox

Great phrase, "getting out of my own way." I was just doing that with my daughter's visit with her boyfriend. Putting expectations for how it should go that didn't need to be there, that went so much better by letting them go.

Nice. Especially with our kids - I find - it adds layers of expectations. We're so invested, naturally.

Alas, they are their own people. (Kinda funny noting this, since I'm fond of telling them when I think they expect too much of me, "I'm a person you know, not just mom.") 😂

I'm recently feeling more open and warmly toward people, too-- both strangers and my friends. As an introvert I often get so engaged in my writing that I don't want the interruptions to take me away, but now I am finding I'm quick to warm up and enjoy interchanges. Writing...feels lately that there is much accumulating inside that is not yet verbalized to be able to share....

Thank you, Kathleen for sharing your sweet encounters. We are constantly charmed by our neighboring creatures in our suburban landscape. We have deer, including a doe and fawn who came by one day and polished off all our iris buds that were ready to bloom (and we didn't mind)... And yesterday a pair or adult rabbits spent the afternoon in our back yard, not even startling when I came in and out of our back door to refill the jelly feeder for the Baltimore Orioles and catbirds....I think we are all re-opening a bit after the Covid trauma...

Have a lovely summer Kathleen~

Thanks, Ginger. It's so good to read this and feel the confirmation. I really suspect the experience of Nature being closer (including us) has to do with lighter frequencies that make up those invisible fields we live in.

And also, as you note, re-opening post Covid trauma.

FWIW - The sun has been incredibly active - I follow a couple people who watch and measure solar activity and the Schumann resonance - and my sense is it's very much part of the dismantling and awakening we're seeing. The cosmos is in on it - It's messy but ultimately good and to be trusted.

Best wishes to you and Peter.

Yes, I have also noticed this, both the animals, deer especially, closer and more able to be with us, and the birds, blue jays and others, happy to come towards me. The comments about you being more comfortable with people is also true for me. Out and about on Thursday, day before a holiday, it was busy everywhere I went, and I did not hate it, noted I felt glad to see people's happiness and kindness. At the bank, literally everyone who entered opened the door for others who were entering and exiting. Beautiful! Is this the Ascension??

Expand full comment
Kathleen Devanney. A human.'s avatar

Love this comment, Connie. Thank for you sharing.

It's less dense out there - changes to our sun and the rest of the planets are happening - it's a big, big context, easily missed (I like listening to Pam Gregory on this subject, and also Heather Ensworth) but many things are coming together right now.

And quite mysterious too. I don't claim to understand it. I do intuit we're moving into a much lighter band of frequencies. (Which means breaking up and letting go of what we were living in.)

If ascension is really just that - lighter bandwidths - then I guess we could say that.

Appreciate the comment. Best.

A wonderful story. Hopefully we will transition to the real wisdom of Christ which is found ONLY in the little known ancient papyrus documents (2 of them with the same words of Christ as written by his Essene community in the 1st C.E. AD). One was found in 1923 in the "Secret Archives of the Vatican" ("Lost" for 1700 years - aka Hidden). THe 2nd was amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls (1947+). Christ said "Don't put death into your body. Put life" So no eating of animal flesh NOR cooked foods. As He said "Your life is in your blood so chew your food until it is liquid so that the life of the plant more easily becomes part of your life" (not exact quote but close). Here's your free copy of Christ's words.

https://spiritual-minds.com/religion/Gnosticts/Essene%20Gospel%20of%20Peace1.pdf

The historian of that time and area, Josephus, wrote about the Essenes and said "The Essenes are long lived and NEARLY DEVOID OF ILLNESS." Two reports on Josephus say that he said that they lived on average to 120 and the other said "many of their elders are over 100 years." They were outliving the Romans by 30 to 50 years. This is not unique. The indigenous Cherokee indians (Smoky Mtn area) were living to 150 "and still quite active" per an eyewitness (a soldier) wholived with them in 1762.

So ask yourself this: Why did the Roman Catholic Church not have Christ's first person wisdom mainly about health NOT front and center for 1700 years but hid it? They didn't want us to be "long lived and nearly devoid of illness." Right Dr. Fauci?

Much truth in this, but popes themselves don't seem to be in on the game. I wonder who are pulling the strings from behind the scenes. I think another contributor to a long life is less stress, which itself comes from resolving personal and generational trauma. It's a journey.

Expand full comment
Older and Wiser's avatar

Joshua thanks for the response. I say that stress is not good but inflammation - a stressor "is at the root of ALL illness." And having "excess circulating glucose" in one's blood at sundown CAUSES INFLAMMATION ALL THRU THE NIGHT UNABATED. I am in freakishly great health in my 70's because I never eat after 4PM.

As a former Catholic (12 years of schooling/indoctrination) and now wiser in my old age, I want to share this. When the Dead Sea Scrolls were being studied, two of the experts had an exchange of letters. One told the other that he was considering taking a theological position with the church - since he was wrapping-up his work. The other responded by saying "I wouldn't take that theological position if I were you because when I'm through examining the scrolls, THE CHURCH WILL NO LONGER EXIST." This was written about in "The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception" by Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh. Not surprisingly an Archbishop Carlo Maria VIgano - the Nuncio/Rep to the USA for the Vatican under two popes, wrote to DJT (2019?) and told him "There is a great evil in the church." I read that posted letter. And the Vatican watcher/reporter, Leo Zagami told Alex Jones about the same time this: "The Vatican is at the center of child trafficking worldwide." That's why the popes "don't seem to be in on the game." No different than Fauci. Playing a role for evil. In my youth and Catholic Schooling, I knew of pedophilia before I ever knew the word. The real truth is slowly being revealed. Take Care.

Thank you for the considered reply. As an (protestant) evangelical-christianity survivor, in my time of being an indoctrinated believer, of course popery was the root of all evil, and child-trafficking /sacrifice in high political/church places was talked about with fear-mongering deep concern - to keep one in the fold, secure against 'all the evil going on out there'.

I''m now in my 70th year, and pretty fit, and used to do intermittent fasting, not eating from 6p.m 'till lunchtime next day. Perhaps I should get back into it. And get back into raw-food-only too for a bit. I agree with avoiding glucose spikes; and inflammation being the root of dis-ease (Hahnemann / homeopathy).

Seriously woman. I agree!! I noticed it this week. I went outside and there were 3 deer on my lawn. One actually walked towards me in curiosity. It was so cool. But, I do not think it is just humans they are getting comfortable with either. I was looking out through my binos over our place 2.5 weeks ago and watched two black bear scuttling through the alfalfa field towards home. Then, up behind the old homestead out yonder, I see a young cow elk, looking lost. Then I see a pronghorn, and so does she. They come nose to nose and she follows him for a while, then 2 deer come into the same picture. They were not impressed. It was a wild evening and after all my years in Idaho, I have never seen anything like it. The old ones would watch the wildlife for advance warnings about natural phenoms coming. I think we are seeing this.

I think it's happening to lot of us, Kathleen.

My feeling is we're responding to big changes in the invisibles (fields) we live in and it's not in a settled place, so we're not in a settled place. Trying to stand still in shifting terrain.

Also the many references that writers rely on to communicate. - that go with the world that's leaving - are going too. So, we have less to rely on that way as well.

Anyway that's my high-level abbreviated take. I don't even know if that makes sense. :-)

The unending chaos...What is there to say about it?

I saw a comment from Toby Rogers on "X" the other day. He said he was struggling to finish writing an article. This, he said, was due to a sense of depression at all that was happening. The corruption, the chaos, the deceptions, lies. And this, I think it was before yesterday's statement re Epstein by Trump. That could not have done much for Toby either. :)

To me, current conditions are like watching a house get pushed along, off of its foundation, sitting on rushing waters that many think result from yet more artificial, unnatural, forced conditions. All you can do is watch because there is no stopping the destruction or the loss.

I'm babbling, rambling. Thank you for the comment, Kathleen.

We share your same observations.

My explanation is that since all of Consciousness operates in subjective awareness, (and always has), now WE are moving more into our own subjective awareness.

Therefore, we are moving and operating more into the realm that nature has always been. And the wildlife, plants, insects, trees, etc., all are recognizing when a particular human is operating at that level.

It's like an "Ah, there you are..." moment for the animals reflected back to us.

It is natural for us as well, but we have spent millenia almost exclusively reliant on our "objective" awareness.

And other humans who are becoming more self-aware are now recognizing each other.

The pendulum is swinging out in the other direction now, so I expect these types of experiences will abound.

Thanks for sharing yours so elegantly Kathleen.

K, this is so odd. I am extremely introverted and today I spoke openly to three strangers. I had a conversation with the lady at check-out. I spoke to an elderly lady sitting on a bench. My accountant...hugged me...

Edit2: reporting back. I sat with a young lady for a few hours who was in a domestic abuse situation. I met her in a park and saw she was in trouble. When her taxi finally arrived I knew my work was done.

Was saving this, Kathleen, until I finished my own! I have the same draft issue in my Dashboard. :)

What a sweet story. And, of course, I giggled at the human in the woods dilemma. 🤭 I get my human interaction for the week at the farmer's market. They all must think I'm a raging extrovert because I get weirdly chatty, probably because I'm so used to being alone.

Did you take that deer photo??? Do you know that is one animal I rarely see here? In the winter, I see their tracks in the woods all the time. I probably need to go at dawn and dusk more often. That's when the Magic happens, right?? Your walking place sounds lovely. I haven't gone for a walk in the woods in weeks because of the deer flies. I can't tolerate them. I need to start leaving my home and finding other places. I'm going to go sit by a mountain lake tomorrow.

FYI, here's Deer from my fave Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck:

"Deer: Loving, Intuitive, Graceful. The Mother

The Deer represents the feminine aspects of Earth energy. This energy is available to all creatures (regardless of gender) but is especially potent in new parents. During the first few days, they are fully present, nurturing, and calm. Their inner beauty radiates, and a sense of grace calms the room. A Deer personality affects others in this way, drawing them toward a quiet tenderness. The Deer card may appear when a birth or celebration of new life draws near, or when a situation calls for absolute gentleness and compassion." XOXO

That's very interesting Kathleen. I live on 5 acres of woods with an acre that is fenced orchard and gardens - to keep the deer and turkeys out. One managed to find her way into the garden through a place I never thought they would go - and I met her there munching away on my veggies. She looked at me and went back to eating... ignoring me. I walked a fair distance to the nearest gate and opened it and went back to her - talking to her as I slowly walked her toward the gate... She wasn't in a hurry and stopped to eat several times along the way... obviously not the least bit worried by me and very reluctant to leave such a feast. I thought the same thing you did... that that was the calmest interaction I have had with a deer in the 18 yrs. I have been here.
