Where Are We, Now?
Post long-awaited public revelations
In an article I came across on Zerohedge; Epstein, Western Decline & The Moral Collapse of the Elites, I was gratified that the author, Lucas Leiroz, honed in on some of the larger implications.
And the uncomfortable truth, impossible to ignore, is that all of this may still be part of an even deeper and more macabre plan by the Deep State – encompassing both Democrats and Republicans – to “resolve the Epstein issue” through a brutal campaign of collective desensitization, “normalizing” in public opinion the idea that the Western elite is composed of pedophiles, satanists, and cannibals.
This reinforces a critical point: the truth only came out because it stopped being useful to keep it hidden.
For decades, all of this was known behind the scenes. The silence was not the result of investigative failure, but of a high-level decision.
The press stayed silent. The agencies stayed silent. The courts stayed silent.
I don’t think it came out because it stopped being useful to keep it hidden.
I suspect it simply reflects where the collective is - and had to come out. The external ‘reality’ mirrors our own awareness - to some significant degree - and finally seeing what’s been happening systemically behind our control structures, was simply ‘up’.
For those who have been aware for a decade or more, this signifies a massive crack in the manufactured layers of our world, we’ve been waiting. For anyone who is still perceiving this world through the false binaries that keep us divided, they find themselves in difficult territory.
I’m not very plugged in lately to the ongoing show. I’ve abandoned much of that and treat my attention with the respect it deserves. (Some days better than others.)
We are, each one of us, deciding our future and one of the quickest ways to ensure it will be a future we want comes down to where we place our attention / energy.
That massive fissure in the external terrain will be navigated easily by some while others may find themselves swallowed up by it. How well we proceed - or don’t - likely comes down to our own inner terrain and what we’ve cultivated there.
Western societies now face a dilemma that cannot be resolved through elections, parliamentary commissions, or encouraging speeches. How can one continue to accept the authority of institutions that shielded this level of horror? How can respect be maintained for laws applied selectively by people who live above them? How can one speak of “Western values” after this?
So key. The gig is up. Yes, it’s been obvious enough for many, but now everyone has to confront this deeper question. Why would anyone view any of these tarnished institutions - including governments - and the pretend leaders of them - as authorities?
We should not, of course. They are not, of course.
And surely, once we grok that previously accepted authorities are no longer a thing, we quickly realize, we are the authority in our own lives, and who or what do we answer to? We will each need to answer that.
Here is our moment. If one’s sense of identity lies in a political party, well, I feel for them. The learning curve is steep. They will need to shed old identities quickly and piece together a new frame from which to operate. And then they’ll need to do it again, and again.
But one thing is clear: after Epstein, nothing can continue as before. Anyone who acts as if nothing has changed either does not understand the gravity of what has come to light or is pretending not to understand.
I would imagine some kind of big event is in the works. Something to scare us back into smallness, into wanting an authority to take care of us, even if that entity is anything but trustworthy.
Just because we ‘see’ them now, and are in various degrees of integrating these horrors, doesn’t mean they don’t wield power. They’ll continue to make decisions that effect all of us, make deals with each other and carry on in their delusion as the ones who run the world.
We’re not free of them yet.
Perhaps our best move is to recognize we are free to choose how we react to whatever they do next. Or how we don’t react.
Underneath this web of deceit and ugliness, another world exists in Nature. The real world. We were given everything we need. Humans are remarkable beings, we adapt, we are resilient and we are natural creators.
Our Source is goodness and love. Not as a nice idea, not as a mythology and story, but as a truth, an essence. Humans who have not been captured are good. Humans who have been captured, can find their way back.
Our very frequency is precious. When in fear and anger, we are easy prey to manipulate. We don’t have to fall for it.
A human who lives at higher frequencies, who can hold and generate gratitude and appreciation in any environment, can not be manipulated into a state of control.
This takes inner discipline. It takes a commitment to explore ourselves inwardly, our connection to the Natural world and to reduce our time chasing the latest headlines.
We stop supporting the insanity by withdrawing our attention. Observing yes, but reacting to and staying in the daily machinations, why? We can look at the headlines, see where things are at, and then head for the woods, or sit quietly, or bake something.
You’ll notice, remarkably, how the former feels unreal and insubstantial - like there is nothing really there. Yet simply being, doing something connected to our actual life, carries a tangibility and a nurturing quality.
Our well-being is not contingent on what a personality - however big - or government does or doesn’t do. Yes, they can throw plenty of wrenches in the works and make things more difficult, but we can recognize these acts are acts of desperation - they’ve run out of moves. Their playbook is limited and we know the game.
Of course our actions in the world need to align with our values as much as possible. We don’t go along with the efforts to corral us. We don’t send money to political parties. We don’t carry on fighting with our neighbors because they support the other corrupt team. That’s over now. Or it should be.
We support efforts and people who are genuinely human-friendly. We deepen our own humanity and our capacity for love. These are small yet powerful. We can and will change the world via our frequency, our connections, our humanity.
We are sophisticated energy beings capable of great things. We haven’t even scratched the surface of what that means. It’s an exciting time.
So let the show crescendo. Let the masks come off. Let the stage fall down.
Good riddance.
We’ll still be here on this beautiful earth.

Dear Kathleen, Thank you for this gem of a post. All of what you write has been scrambling around in my head, but instead of writing it, I go walking in the woods :) So, thank you for putting it on the page so eloquently.
Once you reach this mindset, it's interesting to be in observation mode. We all have had different levels of awareness - some stay stuck in one, others seem able to grow, change their mind, go forward, backward, etc. At 72, I certainly have been in them all.
This latest dump on humanity seems like Covid 2.0, and I think you're correct - something's coming. Some of us learned how to be more sovereign, while others will be ready with boxes of masks they never got rid of. That makes me sad more than anything else.
This: “Our Source is goodness and love. Not as a nice idea, not as a mythology and story, but as a truth, an essence. Humans who have not been captured are good. Humans who have been captured, can find their way back.”
And this: “We can and will change the world via our frequency, our connections, our humanity.
We are sophisticated energy beings capable of great things. We haven’t even scratched the surface of what that means. It’s an exciting time.”
I could not agree more, Kathleen, as you already know. So much Love to you, my friend.🌲🌲💚
Hold this thought. Seeing that we are being manipulated is the first step of turning away from it. The question is ... where do we turn? We may not know right now. But soon, maybe, we will. That's my hope.
