Putting an honest person into a fully dysfunctional system and expecting them to right it - feels like a recipe for disappointment and failure. Given the state of things - our government having been revealed as some combination of clueless, incompetent, ignorant, controlled, compromised, deceitful, corrupt and complicit in crimes against humanity, what on earth could we expect One Person to do in that environment?
It’s a fantasy, an old playbook long irrelevant, carted out in desperation. It insists there’s a game in place that could be won fairly. It’s a delusion and denial of where we are. It’s a mad insistence that things are not as bad as they are. It’s a bandaid on a massive, decaying structure. It’s way too little, way too late.
That said, wouldn’t it be great?
When I heard that RFK Jr was thinking about a run, this is basically what I thought. And felt.
I too, am parched and want to believe there is a way forward that doesn’t require a full collapse. I would love to believe that those cherished values of the American Experiment are not out of reach.
So…
The right person, at the right time could act as a conductor for the county; raising the collective to a new cohesive symphony of possibility. A higher frequency harmonized. We could maybe even shed our cynicism, our heart break and broken spirit, and actually renew.
Do we dare dream it?
Someone who could represent a new - genuinely new - path forward. What if we bestowed our energy - large numbers of us - to such a vision?
This is the very same precious energy that has been hijacked, used and abused by endless mind-control programs to divide us and corral us towards increasing slavery. What would happen if enough of that energy - a sizable portion of us - could be harnessed instead for union, and for good?
What would happen, if under the right conditions, (current legacy media would have to be destroyed, but it’s already taking care of that itself) that energy was tapped? Even amplified and elevated, what could we-the-people achieve then?
Maybe the question is even, what couldn’t we accomplish?
Do I dare to dream this dream?
Let me be really clear. I don’t need a leader to give me meaning. We all are capable of generating meaning. I suspect it’s a necessity, in fact, that we each individually, do exactly that. Handing over authority to anyone, or any institution, well, we are living the consequences of that.
I don’t require nor want an authority figure who tells me what to do or what to believe. (And even with the honorable Robert Kennedy Jr, I don’t agree with his take on climate change.) So, that’s not the point.
The old paradigm is dead. The kindergarten version of America has graduated - even if a whole lot of us don’t know it and have instead been dumbing down. Surely, a pre-school version can’t sustain, and so, if there is going to be something that hangs together under the umbrella of American (not the Corporation, but the country) we are going to go through a massive reorganization.
One person can’t do that, obviously. It will require a LOT of us.
The question is who can symbolize, in character, in behavior, in word and consistent action, that trajectory towards a revitalized and truly free America? (If that’s even possible, I’m not convinced it is.)
Still, doubts aside, could that be, Robert Kennedy Jr? Maybe. And I honestly can’t think of anyone else who would have a better chance at it.
If he does run, he will have my support. Not because I think it would be an easy win. Not because I think one human being can fix all that ails us. (Let’s not have our expectations be so great as to set him up for inevitable failure.)
I would do it for the dream of a free America and for igniting that dream in others. I would do it as a last-ditch try at avoiding an all out collapse.
I would do it as an act of faith, and a way to supply my energy to support someone who embodies integrity and courage. I would do it for the conversations with my Democratic friends who would inevitably have to face - with his run - their full abandonment of democratic principals and outright hypocrisy. (Admittedly, that one’s a little petty.)
So, right now, I hope he runs. I hope many people will support a candidate who sees the rampant corruption, the media and institutional capture, is willing to call it out and yet still has enough faith in the goodness of the average American, to take on such a monumental task.
We can restore as individuals, I know this. So perhaps, too, as a nation.
I don’t want the bad taste the last couple decades has left in my mouth, to stop me from supporting someone who deserves support. Let alone to limit what I see as possible. That would be a win for ‘them’.
Yes, I’ll dare to dream it.
If Robert Kennedy Jr has the gumption and cojones to run, the least I can do, is encourage and support that.
What do you think?

I think he would be assassinated by our own government- just like his father and uncle. 😢
I’ve had the honor of shaking Bobby’s hand twice. I have a great respect for him. He’s willing to die for his cause.
Although I like RKJ I won't vote for any candidate for this highest office unless they admit collapse of the economy is nigh and one of the most important functions of citizens residing in this jurisdiction is to go back. Go back to a simpler lifestyle less dependent on payments and more towards small community. You know, gardens and all that.
But it won't happen with the jet setting university indoctrinated specialists as they are wanting to direct resources to their frivolous pursuits, as they now command the rest of us to pay for.
Prepare yourselves!
