How is it POSSIBLE you ALWAYS manage to write a post that comes from a front row seat to "me and my life now". On the exact day no less.
You are nothing short of my only sanity of late. Because not feeling so alone is the place from which I am able to rebuild my grip on all that is happening g as the merry gonrpund picks up speed and I start to feel so dizzy I want to vomit. With annempty stomach ache. Thank you for the gut.wrenching reality checks. I'd likely he day drinking otherwise (not really but considered it).
Oh how I love this post, Kathleen. Every single word. Reminds me of the definition of "apocalypse," which I'm certain you already know, as "revelation." Greek apokálypsis “uncovering,” a derivative of the verb apokalýptein “to take the cover off.” Unraveling, deconstructing... to reveal "what's really there," as you said. Thank you for reminding us of the new beginnings that are waiting to be born, always.
Alas, we have no idea what will unfold--the "preview" into the unraveling that those of us who read substacks like yours have experienced, while it can involve things like losing jobs, friends, etc., feels super significant, but it is still something early-stage, something happening in the relative luxury of all the wealth and convenience build up since WWII. It lives on all those normies remaining in that precarious Denial that we hate, and thus in an odd way, we ourselves live lives--at present--parasitical upon normie-ism! (And some stackers think I'm just a another kind of normie, since I remain "jury's still out" skeptical about many of the Grand Conspriacy Theories! But I do certainly know that Eugyppius was spot-on when he spoke of comprehensive failure and said nothing will ever be the same.)
The preview we're getting is abstract, or you might say, a matter of thinking ahead with the props of poetic art, and the way such art can bring us to look at history. I read things like Solzhenitsyn talking about the horrors of the camps within the comfort of insulated walls.
What the full unraveling could be....and whether What We Know about what I label the Covid/Vax Disaster will really prepare our souls all that much for living through it....no one can say.
Yes, they won't succeed in their grand, dystopian transhumanism dreams.... But, they can do a LOT of damage until they're finally stopped. And, THAT is where we are. On the knife's edge flirting with the very real potential of humanity's destruction through genetic modification and other poisons, among other deliberately-induced crises. Sorry, I'm a bit black-pilled today.
For instance, the FDA just approved Killy Boy Gates' backed "Edipeel", aka "Apeel", a new and supposedly harmless coating for fruits & veggies under their oh-so-well-documented-as-safe GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) category. As this coating is supposedly made from "natural" oils, IT'S ALSO APPROVED FOR USE ON "ORGANIC" FRUIT & VEGGIES. There were NO SAFETY STUDIES PERFORMED TO BACK THIS APPROVAL. Also falling under the GRAS category are all the colorings (including titanium compounds, and insect-derived dyes), preservatives, flavor "enhancers" (like MSG), etc.
