Mark Passio has said that the fundamental distinguisher between humans is those that believe in authority, and those who do not. This has been the best way to understand why some have gone a different way than others: at the end of the day, they are still happy to be told what to believe.

A conspiracy that works against the best interests of humanity only comes about through a combination of ill intent at high levels and incompetence at lower levels. If our political and public health bureaucracies were not so laden with dismal order followers, we would never have reached this point: the Great Reset would just be psychopathic pipe dream. But they are, and so here we are.

Brainwashed -- really difficult for people to recognize it in themselves. And if they do, it can feel terrifying as their reality starts to crumble.
