I looked into the etymology of the word conspire.
late 14c., "aspire or plan maliciously, agree together to commit a criminal or reprehensible act," from Old French conspirer (14c.), from Latin conspirare "to agree, unite, plot," literally "to breathe together," from assimilated form of com "with, together" (see con-) + spirare "to breathe" (see spirit (n.)), perhaps on the notion of "to agree (by spoken oath) to commit a bad act." Or perhaps the notion is "to blow together" musical instruments, i.e., "to sound in unison."
Neutral or good sense of "to contribute jointly to a certain result" is from 1530s. Related: Conspired; conspiring.
Most of us know now there was a conspiracy to undermine conspiracy theories/theorists after JFK’s assassination. The word was hijacked and weaponized by the CIA who then activated Operation Mockingbird to use the media to undermine anyone who had a theory that opposed the official story sold to the American people about his death.
Importantly, one’s theory could be based on exemplary critical thinking and even solid evidence. In other words your theory could be true and provable. That didn’t matter. The accusation was enough to discredit the person and by extension anyone who might listen to them. A big part of the op was to taint not just the theory and the theorist but those who might be persuaded by it. Guilt by association was key.
For instance, today no one has actually challenged Dr. Yeadon’s list of Covid lies. They can’t - because they’re true. So they attack, of course, him. Same with Steve Kirsch and his ongoing debate challenge. There are many examples of this.
Sixty years after Kennedy’s assassination - the effectiveness of that particular operation (using “conspiracy theory”) to dissuade questioners - has weakened for many, though has been magnified for most. Even those who see through the Covid psyop will often address the ‘conspiracy theory’ moniker before offering their opinion. They have to, knowing it’s the first wall that needs to be psychologically penetrated.
It’s worth reflecting on just how easy it is to steer people away from areas of thought and consideration by attaching a derogatory element to it: Anti-vaxxer, dis-information spreader, racist, etc. We know.
And while we may intuitively think the answer to propaganda is education, we would be wrong. Education in a formal setting, is its prerequisite. (Information not tied to an agenda is the answer to propaganda.)
As Jacques Ellul has written in his book, Propaganda (written early 1960’s) intellectuals are particularly susceptible to propaganda. (Below from Auticulture - February 12, 2020 by Jasun)
Central in Ellul’s thesis, is that modern propaganda cannot work without “education”; he thus reverses the widespread notion that education is the best prophylactic against propaganda. On the contrary he says, education, or what usually goes by that word in the modern world, is the absolute prerequisite for propaganda. In fact, education is largely identical with what Ellul calls “pre-propaganda”—the conditioning of minds with vast amounts of incoherent information, already dispensed for ulterior purposes and posing as “facts” and as “education.” Ellul follows through by designating intellectuals as virtually the most vulnerable of all to modern propaganda, for three reasons: (1) they absorb the largest amount of secondhand, unverifiable information; (2) they feel a compelling need to have an opinion on every important question of our time, and thus easily succumb to opinions offered to them by propaganda on all such indigestible pieces of information; (3) they consider themselves capable of “judging for themselves.” They literally need propaganda. (vi)
In other words, intelligent people like to weigh in and they don’t like to look stupid. Or duped or naive or unsophisticated. They like to appear, well, intelligent and they’ve been taught - as we all have - that ‘serious’ people read things like the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal and The Atlantic. They know those silly conspiracy people (obviously less intelligent, poor dears) go outside authoritative narratives and confuse themselves with a bunch of nonsense.
So why do some intellectuals break out of propaganda, and others not? That’s the fascinating question to me. Naomi Klein - fully engulfed in propaganda, Naomi Wolf, fully outside it. Noam Chomsky (who actually gave talks on Bernays book on propaganda!) was also duped by the Covid narrative.
It’s a puzzle.
There are of course, important differences between persuasion and propaganda. But somehow that distinction has been erased or temporarily forgotten.
Open minds capable of taking in new information can and should be persuaded to change their mind, if the new information takes them there. And we see many examples in the alternative, truth-grounded movement to be sure.
But for the average Jane and Joe, still ensnared in the web of lies we call legacy media, I suspect propaganda has blossomed to such a degree (Edward Bernays book was written a century ago now) that we’ve entered into its destined conclusion in all-out absurdity.
So overwhelmed by the tsunami of propaganda, many can’t allow even a discussion, let alone debate. Rather than hear information that might keep them from drowning in its effects, they will walk away. (Or swim away, to stay with the metaphor.)
The propaganda is so thick, compelling facts and evidence simply can’t penetrate it.
I know, if you’re reading this, you know.
So let’s turn our attention to those who can. Those who can not only penetrate the thickness, but who will integrate the new information, will educate others about it and will be transformed by it. (This is a big deal, because transformation is an act of dropping one version of ourself to allow a new version to emerge.)
Dr. Michael Yeadon is my favorite example here because we watched him in real time, go from clueless “normie” (as he referred to his earlier self) to awakened.
Yeadon was especially fast-moving through cognitive dissonance and was obviously busy catching up by availing himself to wide-ranging voices and views, when not educating people on the obvious and provable lies we were being fed. He has said he had a skill in seeing patterns, and perhaps this explains, in part, why he was capable of getting through the muck and noise of the narrative.
I think there’s more to it than that. But that’s for another time.
I see those who catch on quickly as allowing their curiosity to lead their intelligence. (Rather than the other way round.) Ideally once we discover we have been fooled, this knowledge arms us and pushes us past those invisible walls we inherited and were designed to keep us on track. We determine we will not be confined again. (Which is an act of internal volition (a very individuated and sovereign-like exercise and human quality now being attacked. “Free-will, that’s over!” As Harrari, our favorite love-to-hate parasite has said.)
While it’s true we wake from one illusion into yet another, many will not notice this at first. Breaking out of one illusion, we will try to find our footing in the next. Typically we spend time in the new - yes more expansive - but still confined reality, looking at data and evidence to prove the previous reality, now exposed, was false.
All well and good, but there comes a point when, enough is enough. Another study to prove what we already know is not only redundant, it is also delaying the unavoidable - which is busting out of the illusions in your new, current reality.
When I hear people in the process of waking still refer to captured and fully corrupt entities as “incompetent,” I can’t not feel a wave of impatience. I’m all for assuming positive intent, but when it’s obvious that a global coordinated conspiracy amounting to a massive power grab and the laying of a foundation for a world-wide control grid is afoot, I think we need to speak and act with a level of urgency equal to the threat.
I wish I could ask them: “Seriously, do you honestly still believe this is a result of incompetence?” What I hear them really telling me is this is where they are in the process of waking up; of shedding the Reality-Show world of manufactured crises. With so much already undermined, they are not ready for more.
Fair enough. You can’t push the river and you can’t push people to take in more than they can handle. At the same time, there’s a race going on and the learning curve gets steeper all the time.
Yeadon has remarked, he doesn’t need to collect any more stamps. I know how he feels. The lies are already exposed, now we need to grasp the situation we’re in, anticipate where they are leading us, and take action. And where NOT to take action in terms of going along.
When confronting that we’ve been lied to about pretty much everything (far beyond even our current understanding) we would be wise to recognize that what’s in play in waking up, is our very sense of identity.
It’s uncomfortable. The more invested we are in our sense of identity being based on the external world, the more uncomfortable it is. If I find my identity in what I know, what my title is, where I went to school and my profession etc., then it will be much harder to let that identity go. If much of what I thought I knew as a doctor turns out to be distorted, incorrect and intentionally limited, am I still a doctor? The same for professors, scientists and teachers.
In this light, you can understand why intellectuals tend to be slow catching on. Their identity is at stake. What of their success in the world when it turns out that world was built on lies and fallacies? As, Krishnamurti famously noted: “It’s no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” If you are one of the successful, top in your field and admired by many, this is a hard pill to swallow.
It also opens up a whole new conspiracy. Maybe the deepest one we can consider and that is the question of who we are. What does it mean to be a human being?
This question - which you’ll notice is not encouraged in school - has been shaped for a very long time. They’d like us to believe and have spent decades attempting to convince us, that we are at root, material beings made up of particles. Evolved from apes and now, inevitably we’re told, in this age of bio-technology, “hackable animals.” (Harrari is truly the gift that keeps on giving isn’t he?)
If I am indeed merely a collection of particles, maybe adding to those ingredients isn’t such a bad thing? This is what TPTB would like us to think.
They’ve shown their cards. Their position is clear and for those who see them and have grokked the game, the response can only be: We’re not playing.
Our very sense of identity has been shaped by hidden forces for a long time. This is, in my opinion, the original conspiracy. Our sense of who we are and what we can do has been limited intentionally and corralled into a narrow path; one that we can now see clearly leads to a transhuman dystopian world where we end up as digital versions of ourselves hanging out in the Metaverse.
With this in mind, should we sit around and discuss the latest report on how masks don’t work?
Big sigh. (Don’t get me wrong I know they are trying to inform and persuade those who still think those damn things are about health.)
Here’s the good news. The very good news. Despite all the indoctrination in our schools, the corruption and capture of institutions, despite the non-stop programming and attacks on our air, food and water, despite the onslaught of pharma cooperating with governments to keep us medicated and sick, despite the false flags and endless manufactured crises, despite all of this, humans are rising. Maybe not as many as we’d like, but still… you can see it. You can feel it.
And this is the new conspiracy: Let’s call it, Operation Free Humanity. Conspiracy here as in the definition: “to contribute jointly to a certain result.”
Humans are freeing themselves. Well, kudos to us.
We are so much bigger than these hidden controllers. Not the collection of the atoms or subatomic components and chemicals that make up our temporary bodies. While even that is miraculous to be sure, it is the source from which these bodies sprang, the life-source that gave birth to everything - this is where our true identity lies.
In this new conspiracy to free humanity, we will discover far more about who we really are. That means that:
We can relax. Even as we discover we’ve been wrong about everything, and have profoundly misidentified ourselves. It’s okay, because who we really are is so much greater.
We can be courageous. We can simply drop these old versions of our selves, who perhaps thought they were important because they had extra letters next to their names or big careers. It doesn’t matter. Impressive in the Reality Show world, yes, but nothing compared to the real you.
We can organize a better way. Yes I’m thinking of Dr. Tess Lawrie here, who is taking steps to do just that. We don’t have to wait for the world to wholly fall apart before we start building something better. We can do it now, by simply coming together and choosing what we want. No permission required.
The hidden controllers (those behind the faces of Schwaby and Gates) have worked very very hard to shape our image of ourselves as little versions who are forever at the mercy of someone or something else. It took an enormous amount of effort, coordination, money and influence to do it.
And still, it didn’t work. At least not for all of us.
What is it about humans that they can’t keep us down? I suspect it’s directly linked to that life-source. And I further suspect that when we stand up, say no, speak out and work together, we begin to more fully embody that source which seems to desire the good, the beautiful and the true. This source flows through us and is naturally creative and intelligent, inspiring and kind and above all, values life and love.
That’s what’s in us, that’s who we are.
There is so much good news in these difficult times. I need to remind myself of that.
I suggest we hold the current versions of ourselves lightly. Whatever falls away - we can remember that it was never really us anyway. What persists, is the foundation we build on.
The Reality-Show world has been manufactured by an anti-human force, to keep us small. The life force in you - that did its best to adjust to a profoundly sick society - that’s real. And it will, freed of those imposed obstacles and restrictions, naturally redirect as that false world falls away. We can already see it in so many.
If who we really are, wasn’t something amazing, unpredictable and capable, those anti-human, eugenists behind the attempted global take-over, wouldn’t be having such a hard time.
We need not be afraid of them. They should be afraid of us. Humans kick-ass.
Every time one of us, gives voice to our claim to freedom, humanity strengthens. And that spark of life we inherited, that remains largely mysterious but far more real than anything Reality Show world can manufacture, brightens and we come closer to knowing who we really are.
That’s totally cool.
Operation Free Humanity. There’s a conspiracy I can get behind.

A New Conspiracy:
once again a beautifully written post. Very hard for those deceived to come to grips with the truth. One thing that has bothered me a bit is the source's statement that in these times, when people embrace and like lies, I will harden them and heap more lies on them. Always seek the truth, even if it means you have been going down the wrong path, change paths.
Well you got to the heart of the matter, certainly. Literally and figuratively. I do hope you spend it on wine. Love your writing.
